How do I control the size of the zoomed in image?

Cool Image Magnifier has several options to help control how much the images are zoomed in.

You can select the size of the zoomed image with the options for Zoomed Image Size in the app preference page: 

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to the Apps section
  2. Find your Cool Image Magnifier 
  3. Tap on Zoom preferences.

Once there, choose the preferred Zoomed image size:

For example, this is an image set to no bigger than 2048 x 2048 pixels:

And this is how it will look it's set to no bigger than 600 x 600 pixels:

Why would I want to reduce the zoomed image?

Perhaps you uploaded extremely large images, for example 4096 x 4096px, and the loupe shows only a tiny portion of the image.

Or maybe, if the images are huge, you are worried about the download times of those images and you prefer to use some smaller ones for the zoom.
