Why does the zoom seem to change the colour of the image?
Cool Image Magnifier has an option to add a grey effect to the original image when the loupe is displayed. The idea is to make the customer focus on the loupe contents.
You can easily find this option on the app preferences page by doing the following:
- In your Shopify Admin, go to the Apps section
- Find your Cool Image Magnifier
- Tap on 'Image preferences' > 'Image animation on zoom'
If you enable this option, the zoomed image will look with the original colour, making the background image slightly darker:
If you don't want to have any colour effects on your image, just disable this option, and then both images should look
