How to add extra zoom to the images?

Cool Image Magnifier has several options to control how much the images are zoomed in.

If you only have small images, you can use the extra zoom options to force zoom on your images.

You can find them on the app preferences page. Just do the following:

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to the Apps section
  2. Find your Cool Image Magnifier 
  3. Tap on Advanced preferences> Scroll down to Small images extra zoom.

NOTE: By doing this, the image may appear blurred. The best option is always to upload the images of the highest resolution possible.

Shopify keeps several versions of the images; the lower-resolution images are displayed on product pages, while our app uses the higher-resolution images to create the zoom effect.

If you only have small images, try to apply a small extra zoom factor and test how it looks. Try different extra zoom values to find the best balance while avoiding displaying blurred images. If the outcome isn't the best one, then you should definitely consider uploading images with the best resolution and a good size.
