How does the zoom work on mobile?

Cool Image Magnifier displays a magnifying glass when the mouse is over the product images.

However, there is no such thing as a mouse on mobile devices, so it is difficult to mimic the same behaviour.

On mobile devices, the magnifying glass is displayed  when the user drags their finger over the image.

As that may interfere with the mobile gestures used for navigation, we decided to show the loupe only when the centre of the image is tapped.

The sides of the image can still be used for regular navigation, for example, vertical scrolling:

As this behaviour may not suit your needs, the app can be completely disabled on mobile with the following option on the app preferences page. To get this done, you just need to do the following:

1. From the Shopify Admin, go to the 'Apps' section.
2. Find the Cool Image Magnifier app and open it.
3. Go to Zoom preferences and then find the Mobile devices section.
4. Uncheck the "Enable zoom on mobile devices." option and then hit Save.
