How does the wait cursor work in Full Page Zoom?

Full Page Zoom displays a wait cursor while the zoomed images are being loaded in the background (Cursor preferences):

This serves as an indicator that the current image is loading and cannot be zoomed yet:

Please note that the cursor is system-dependent, so it will look different on each system.

Once the image is loaded and available to be zoomed, the regular zoom cursor is displayed:

The 'Wait cursor' option is enabled by default, and we don't recommend disabling it unless you have very lightweight images.
